Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is the sixth book in the Harry Potter series, but to the disappointed of many the movie just didn’t add up. Many came in with the high expectation that this movie would blow them away, just as the prior movie did, and as did the book. However, due to many factors, one of which may be the delayed release date of the movie, Harry Potter hoopla seems to have dissipated dramatically this past year. The recession and other economical concerns have diverted attention away from entertainment, and an audience who was once concerned with the fate of the wizarding world has now had their attention shifted by more pressing matters of our nation. This however, is all just speculation. To some, the movie was too dialogue- oriented; to others the movie was a spectacular display of ingenious directing and revolutionary special effects technology.  Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a spectacularly told story, but as with any book translated onto the big screen, it will be met by some disappointment.
